Literature for the Blind is destined for sending written, sound, pictorial or graphical communications on any kind of physical media, also for sending small articles within the Slovak Republic and abroad, too.
If you need a Certificate of Posting (on demand also a Certificate of Delivery) of an item, use the service Registered Literature for the Blind. In this case, an item shall be delivered subject to a receipt.
By means of the Literature for the Blind, you can send:- written communications made by the Braille writing (writing for blinds),
- written communications made by the Klein writing (pricked out by the Roman alphabet embossing),
- blocks with blind marks,
- sound records on electromagnetic and optic media,
- special papers for blinds´needs (only sent by an institution for blinds or addressed to such an institution).

Posting procedure back
- Mark the item with addressee data (in domestic service, they can be written also by the Roman alphabet embossing pricked out).
- The literature for the blind shall be posted only in a close wrapping.
- Mark the item in the right upper quarter of the address side with the note „Slepecká zásielka“, in case of an international one, with the note „Cécogrammes“.
- Post the literature for the blind together with a Certificate of Posting (receipt, posting sheet) that is available at each post office.
- Attach to the items that are subject to customs procedure the Customs Declaration CN 22 that is available at each post office. In case of sending more articles or if their amount is higher than 300 DTS, use the Customs Declaration CN 23 that is also available at each post office. When it in a case of the registered items containing only papers the Customs Declaration CN 22/CN 23 shall not be attached. The items addressed to Member States of the European Union are not subject to customs procedure.
- Post the literature for the blind at a counter of a post office/”Pošta Partner” post office.
